SUPERNOVA PEST CONTROL · BEFORE YOUR VISIT

Getting ready for your Supernova service

A few simple steps help us treat your home thoroughly and keep your visit convenient.

Before we arrive

  • Unlock gates and share access instructions with our team.
  • Secure pets away from treatment areas.
  • Turn off sprinklers for the visit.
  • Move pet bowls, pet toys and children’s toys away from treatment areas.

Specialty service? For bed bugs, fleas, cockroaches or another specialty treatment, follow the specific preparation instructions provided by our team. Contact us if you need a copy.

You don’t need to be home for exterior service

Just make sure gates are unlocked, our team has any required gate code or access instructions, treatment areas are accessible, and pets are secured away from the areas we’ll treat.

Want the inside treated? Contact us before your service day when possible so we can arrange a two-hour arrival window. We also offer a text or call about 30 minutes before arrival—let us know which you prefer. Our team will confirm the arrangements.

Seeing pest activity? Text us bug photos. Tap the button below, attach a clear photo in your messaging app, and include your name, service address and where you are seeing activity. A close-up plus a wider photo of the area helps us understand your concerns. Photograph from a safe distance; there is no need to handle the pest.

Text photos directly to 208-500-2381. The button opens your messaging app; you attach and send the photos there.

Make a plan for pets

Keep animals out of the treatment area during service and until the treatment has dried, or longer if your technician instructs.

If your dog stays outside and you need to be home to bring them in, contact us to arrange a time window or an advance text or call.

Turn off sprinklers

Please make sure sprinklers won’t be running during your visit, especially around the foundation. Your technician can let you know when to resume watering based on the treatment performed.

Clear the areas around your home

Before we arrive, please move these items away from the areas being treated:

  • Pet food and water bowls.
  • Dog toys, chews, and bedding.
  • Children’s toys and other play items.

We commonly treat around the foundation—generally about 3 feet up and up to 10 feet out, depending on the property, treatment needs, and product label. Treatment may also include eaves, windows, and other entry points where appropriate. You don’t need to empty your yard; focus on keeping these areas accessible.

If we’re treating inside

Clear access to the areas you want us to inspect or treat.

Indoor applications generally take 45–60 minutes to dry, though conditions can change that timing. Keep people and pets away from treated areas until dry and follow any additional instructions from your technician.

HELPFUL HABITS BETWEEN VISITS

Small yard improvements can help

Helpful over time—not required before your visit. These ongoing maintenance steps help reduce pest hiding places and make treatment easier:

  • Remove heavy leaf buildup and yard debris along the foundation.
  • Keep grass trimmed and shrubs from resting against the house.
  • Reduce clutter around exterior walls.
  • Address dripping faucets and excess moisture.
  • Repair damaged screens and gaps around doors or other entry points.

Questions or need to coordinate your visit?

Call or text us before your appointment—we’re happy to help.

This checklist covers general pest service. Specialty treatments may require additional preparation; we’ll provide instructions for your scheduled service.
