UNDERSTAND YOUR OPTIONS

Same idea. Different contents.

A station gives us a place to check for termite activity. What is inside determines whether it only monitors or also contains a termite-killing bait.

DETECTION · LOWER-COST OPTION

Monitoring-only stations

Monitoring material gives us a place to look for termite feeding during scheduled checks.

No termite-killing bait is inside. This option does not kill termites or treat an infestation. If activity appears, we explain the findings and quote a suitable response.

MONITORING + TERMITE CONTROL

Active bait stations

These stations contain termite bait with an active ingredient. Termites must find and feed on it; control develops over time.

A termite-killing component is included. We assess the property, install and service the stations according to the product requirements, and review activity during follow-up.

Stations are not a physical barrier or a promise that termites cannot reach a building. Inspection and ongoing checks still matter. How professional termite baiting works.

BUYING, SELLING, OR REFINANCING?

Termite inspections for VA loans & refinancing

Need a termite inspection for a property transaction? Tell us that when you contact us so we can discuss the required report, access, timing, and price.

Transaction inspections and written reports are a separate service from a free pest assessment. Your lender or transaction team can tell you what documentation is needed for your particular loan.

Have these details ready

  • Property address and your contact details
  • Lender instructions and the requested report
  • Closing date or submission deadline
  • Access arrangements, including crawlspace access

We confirm the inspection scope, availability, and quote before booking.

A PLAN FOR YOUR PROPERTY

How the station program works

01

Inspect & choose

We discuss your concerns and inspect accessible areas for activity and conditions such as moisture or wood-to-soil contact. We explain the station options and recommend a plan based on what we find.

02

Install & revisit

We plan station locations around the property and agree on a check schedule. At follow-up visits, we inspect and service the stations, review activity, and explain any maintenance or next steps.

03

Respond to findings

If we find activity, we assess its location and extent. We explain what your current program includes and quote any additional treatment before work begins.

Termite Protection DeveloperHS

Check frequency is part of your quote. It depends on the station system, product requirements, property conditions, and termite activity. Monitoring works only while stations remain accessible and the program is maintained.

LOCAL EXPERIENCE, CAREFUL IDENTIFICATION

Seeing signs? Start with an inspection.

Termites are less common in our service work than everyday pests such as ants and spiders, but we do see them. Some of the cases we have encountered have been around Lenore and Kendrick.

Mud tubes, discarded wings, or unexplained wood damage deserve a closer look. Ant swarmers and moisture damage can be mistaken for termites; a photograph or sighting alone may not show the full problem.

CLEAR SCOPE. CLEAR PRICING.

Know what your quote covers.

Termite service is quoted for the property. We explain installation, scheduled checks, what is inside the stations, and how we handle findings. Transaction inspections are quoted separately.

Before you decide, we cover:

  • Monitoring-only or active bait
  • Station placement and service schedule
  • Installation and ongoing service charges
  • Included work and separately quoted treatment

TERMITE SERVICE FAQ

A few more straight answers.

No. They contain monitoring material without termite-killing bait. They help us detect feeding during station checks but do not treat an infestation. If activity is found, we explain the findings and quote appropriate treatment or an active-bait option.

Active bait contains an ingredient that controls termites after they find and feed on it. It works over time and requires inspection and maintenance. We select the program for your property and follow the product requirements.

We set out the check schedule in your quote. It depends on the station system, product requirements, property conditions, and activity. If findings require a different response, we explain the recommendation and any change in scope.
