Supernova owns every bait station we install. We service them during your monitoring plan and collect them when monitoring ends.

Your inspection determines which methods fit your property. Trapping, exterior monitoring, and exclusion each have a different job.

01 · INSIDE

Indoor trapping

Targeted traps help address rodents already inside. We choose placement and equipment for the activity and accessible spaces, then adjust as needed.

We do not place rodenticide bait inside homes.

02 · OUTSIDE

Exterior monitoring

Tamper-resistant bait stations may be used outdoors where appropriate. We check activity and service the stations on the agreed schedule.

Exterior baiting works alongside indoor trapping and repairs.

03 · ENTRY POINTS

Exclusion & repairs

We look for likely openings around doors, garages, foundations, vents, and utility lines, and discuss repairs that can reduce access.

Exclusion work is quoted separately.

Inspect & identify

We ask what you’ve noticed and inspect accessible areas for signs of activity and likely entry points. We discuss access to spaces such as garages, attics, or crawlspaces as appropriate.

Agree on the plan

Before treatment, we explain the recommended methods, price, visit schedule, and preparation. Any proposed exclusion work has its own scope and quote.

Monitor & adjust

During agreed follow-up, we check activity, service equipment, and adjust trap placement, attractants, or trap types. Cameras can help with difficult situations.

Rodent work is assessed separately from our general pest plans. Before work begins, we explain:

The planned visits and monitoring frequency.
What follow-up is included and what would be additional work.

REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS

Progress takes monitoring.

In our experience, a small, recent problem may resolve in several days. Established infestations can take weeks to several months. These are examples—not promised deadlines.

The timeline depends on the activity, access, entry points, and conditions around the property. Some jobs need targeted visits; others benefit from ongoing monitoring.

Before rodent service begins.

How much does rodent control cost?

Pricing depends on the activity, property layout, access, treatment methods, and follow-up needed. Start with a free rodent inspection. We explain the recommended service and price before work begins; exclusion repairs are quoted separately.

Do you use rodenticide bait inside homes?

No. We use traps indoors and may use tamper-resistant bait stations outdoors where appropriate. Exterior bait can affect rodents that travel in and out, so it cannot guarantee that they will die outside.

How long will it take, and how often will you visit?

We recommend a schedule based on what we find. A small, recent issue may resolve in days; established infestations can take weeks to several months. There is no guaranteed completion date. We explain the planned follow-up and adjust the approach as activity changes.

Who owns the stations, and what happens if I stop service?

Supernova owns and maintains the bait stations we install. When rodent monitoring ends, we collect the stations. Contact us to change or stop your monitoring plan; we do not require a long-term contract.

Is sealing entry points included?

We look for likely entry points during the inspection, but exclusion repairs are quoted separately. Sealing alone does not remove rodents already indoors, so we coordinate recommendations with trapping and monitoring.

What if I have children or pets?

Tell us before we place equipment so we can plan placement and explain the precautions for your property. Tamper-resistant stations are not risk-free. Keep children and pets away from traps and stations, do not move or open the equipment, and tell us if anything is damaged or disturbed.
