Supernova Pest Control began in Lewiston, Idaho, in spring 2022. Founder Zach Leavitt brings a decade of experience in the pest-control industry. We help homes and businesses with ants, spiders, rodents, bed bugs, and other pest problems, guided by a straightforward belief: earn your customers’ trust, then keep earning their business.
Before founding Supernova, Zach took responsibility for a 42-room motel in Lewiston. When bed bugs became a serious problem, finding a lasting solution became part of his daily work.
He lived onsite and worked 108 consecutive days at the motel. Resolving the infestation took months of research, treatment, and persistence. He experienced the problem from the property owner’s side, with people depending on him to see it through.
That experience helped shape Supernova: take the problem seriously, explain the approach, and stay accountable for the work.

Zach is Supernova’s founder and a working pest control professional with a decade of experience in the industry. He lives in Coeur d’Alene and remains highly involved in services across the Coeur d’Alene area, performing most of those services himself.
From housekeeping to a pillar of Supernova
Autumn’s story with Supernova started at the motel. Zach was running the pest business alongside a 42-room motel, and Autumn’s mother, Jodie, was his only motel employee. They needed help, and Jodie brought Autumn in to clean rooms.
After a few weeks of excellent work, Zach gave her a chance at the front desk. She did well there, too. Next came answering the Supernova phone, followed by the motel phone. Before long, Autumn was checking guests in, handling calls for both businesses, and checking rooms. She had become essential to keeping things running.
When the motel sold in fall 2024, Autumn joined Supernova Pest Control full time. She spent her first year and a half in the office, then became a licensed pest control technician. She has also shown a talent for sales, adding another skill to an already impressive range of responsibilities.
Today, Autumn is a pillar of Supernova. Her role grew because she kept doing the work well and rising to the next challenge. We’re proud of what she has accomplished and the part she plays in this company.
Zach’s years in the industry shaped a clear idea of the company he wanted to build: straightforward service, understandable pricing, and the freedom for customers to choose whether to continue.
